Analyse how camera is used to create meaning in a media product you have studied.
There are a large variety of Close Ups during this video. Most of the Close Ups come while the girl is singing. The Close Ups are on her, judges and people in the audience. The reason in using the Close Ups is so that the viewers of the video can see the emotions running through the girls face it also creates tension in the audience. It also shows how concentrated the audience and judges are on the performance as they are enjoying it very much. This links to a previous case study we have studied in Doctor Who. The Close Up is used on the doctor to show tension.
A Long shot is used during the video. The Long Shot is used to show the whole family celebrating proudly after the performance of the girl. The Long Shot shows how thrilled each member of the family is with the girls performance. It expresses the togetherness of the family. Most of the family members were crying tears of enjoy. It seems is if they are all very close. The angle of this was also made so that it looked as if there where lots of people in the photo but there were only around 6 or 7.
There is a crane movement during the video. Straight after the performance a crane movement is used on the audience of them all clapping and cheering the girl who has just performed. The can angle went across the front of the stage from one side of the audience to the other to make sure that there are lots of people who have come to watch the X factor and show how much emotion is being shown in the audience. This shows that they had really enjoyed the performance and are very happy for the girl.

I expect for this work to include three paragraphs, each focusing on a different one of the four technical aspects). Each paragraph should include two points laid out as follows:
- Point (identify the technique)
- Example (detailed description of the content of the technique - the denotation)
- Explain (connotation, an explanation of meaning, with reference to the audience, genre, and/or representation).
Optional - explain using Altman's genre theory.
Finally, you need to address a range of technical aspects - not just camera.
Please make these changes asap in 3 new/improved paragraphs below.
Also, please leave a comment below as a reflection on feedback and explaining any changes you have made.
For me, this is currently a 5 out of 12 - if you write how you did for Dr who, it will improve significantly.
