There are different types of camera shots during the opening minute of the trailer. This is because the trailer is very fast pace. The camera is never on a single person or object for longer than three seconds because the trailer is very high tempo.
Sound
The music that is being played during the opening minute is very intense. This is because it is during an action scene. The music is well suited to the scene.
Editing
The editing inside the first minute of the trailer is very intense. There are multiple cuts and the scenes all seem to be very quick.

ReplyDeleteYour textual analysis of The Avengers sequence is far too descriptive for a Media course. There is very limited reference to how the techniques create meaning - what does each technique connote? I would expect as a minimum, two points each for sound, M.E.S., camera and editing, with a detailed denotation (description of technique) and a thoughtful connotation (what meaning the technique creates or the effect it has) for every point. In terms of quantity the work is also severely lacking the detail and effort required for a Cambridge Technical course.
